  • Walls, floors, and surfaces must be made of materials that allow for easy cleaning and disinfection

  • All work zones must be disinfected after each session

  • Disposable gloves, masks, aprons, and protective eyewear are required during procedures

  • Used gloves and single-use items must be discarded immediately after each client


Sterile working conditions are the foundation of every professional tattoo studio. Regular surface cleaning, tool sterilization, and the use of approved disinfectants help prevent infection and ensure trust between the artist and client.

The use of certified tattoo equipment and dyes is non-negotiable in a safe working environment. Studios should:
